Our Philosophy
Music theater is a dynamic genre of music. It requires vocal skill, stamina, and theatrical interpretation to bring the text to life. C.A.S.T. is dedicated to training everyone in the show to have the skill set to be singing actors. We believe that vocal health is a top priority and we believe in teaching proper vocal production. C.A.S.T. is dedicated to teaching techniques that will ensure vocal health all year around.

Our vocal program features students of all levels and experience in our productions. Students will learn proper singing technique as well as musical interpretation of the text. Our program teaches both standard classical technique as well as the music theater style. Our students engage both their head and their chest voice to make a connected sound that is resonant and beautiful to the ear.

Our staff has multiple singers and performers who are only teachers, but professional musicians in the field. They draw from professional performance experience and share those experiences with the cast. Our staff is committed to training the cast to be better vocalists. They work on sound quality, ear training, singing in parts, belting, legit singing, and vocal blend. In their work they challenge, engage, and transform students allowing them to learn life skills that will stay with them forever
